Holiday Break

I’m not going to be around for the next two weeks because I’m going on holiday with my family. I’m unplugging from the ‘net for the duration of my holiday and won’t be looking in on this site or checking my emails.

So, if you have a problem please search this site thoroughly, use google and try the WordPress forums. Also, read the documentation that comes with the plugin and play around with the settings. If you still can’t find an answer to your problem and feel the need to post on here to ask for help bear in mind that I’ll be catching up on my return so please be patient.

Subscribe2 4.13

Version 4.13 of the Plugin is now available for download.

If you use this plugin consider making a donation to support future development!

Version 4.13 is for 2.6.x and 2.7.x users. (Although it should work with WordPress 2.5 too!) This version has been tested on WordPress 2.7.

Users of WordPress 2.0.x should download Version 2.22 of Subscribe2. Users of WordPress 2.1.x and 2.2.x should download Version 3.8.

Next Version and Support

You may have noticed that there has been quite a gap since the last release based on previous release history. You may have also noticed that my response times to support comments posted on here is not what is has been.

The reason for this is that I am struggling with my health at the moment. One day I’m fine, the next I feel exhausted. I have been diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease for some 10 years now and I’ve coped pretty well so far.

Unfortunately, over the last three or four months I have not been doing as well and therefore have not been able to spend much time on my hobbies (this plugin being one of them!).

Please bear with me, I fully intend to recover and get back to coding this plugin soon. Also, if anyone out there wants to offer some help offering support to users on this site please post a comment below and I’ll get in touch when I can.

New Plugin Directory

WordPress are in the process of changing the way they host the free development site for WordPress plugins like Subscribe2.

I have therefore lost access to my SVN site until my plugin is transferred to the new plugin directory.

You can still use the existing download links for the time being but as soon as I’m on the new system I’ll be taking these files down and hosting fully through WordPress. I will aim to co-ordinate this with some new releases for 2.0.x and 2.1.x so keep your eyes peeled here or in the Plugin Directory!

I’ll get back to coding the Subscribe2 plugin when time allows but in the meantime you’ll have to be patient as Max is going to come first!

This new site provides access to the Subscribe2 Plugin and Widget.

Currently, WordPress.com does not allow for .zip files to be uploaded so the actual plugin and widget files are linked to externally hosted space.

This site will allow users of Subscribe2 to monitor the RSS feed from this site for new posts that will relate to new releases!
